We welcome Dr Clair Learmonth, an experienced general practitioner who will be joining the Intercare Silver Lakes team from 2 September 2024.
Dr Learmonth obtained her MBChB degree from the University of Pretoria in 2013. Her medical journey began with an internship at Witbank Hospital, followed by community service at Tambo Memorial Hospital, where she also earned a Diploma in Anaesthetics. Since 2017, Dr Learmonth has been in private practice, cultivating a particular interest in paediatrics and breastfeeding. In 2023, she became a certified lactation consultant, further solidifying her commitment to supporting mothers and infants. Additionally, Dr Learmonth has a keen interest in the management of diabetes and chronic diseases, areas in which she continues to expand her expertise.
Beyond her professional life, Dr Learmonth is a proud mother of two girls. She enjoys spending her free time reading and running, pursuits that reflect her balanced approach to health and well-being.
