Intercare Woodburn welcomes Dr Blake Lawrence, who joins our team with extensive experience in both public and private healthcare.
Dr Lawrence earned his MBBCh from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2016. Since 2020, he has worked at Harry Gwala Regional Hospital (formerly Edendale Hospital) as a Medical Officer in Orthopaedic Surgery and Primary Health Care. His nine years in public service have shaped a patient-centred approach that is compassionate and holistic.
He has a strong interest in family medicine and mental health care and is passionate about managing acute and chronic orthopaedic conditions, sports medicine, and emergency care. Dr Lawrence brings this expertise to Intercare Woodburn, where he looks forward to supporting patients with comprehensive care.
