Intercare Waterstone is proud to announce the addition of Dr Neil Mathee to its dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Dr Mathee, a highly skilled general medical practitioner, brings a patient-centred approach to health management, with a focus on holistic care and disease prevention.
A graduate of the University of Stellenbosch, he interned in East London and did community service in Clanwilliam, where he discovered his passion for community and family medicine. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine, which enhances his ability to manage sports injuries, address chronic conditions, and optimise performance for athletes at all levels.
Outside the consulting room, Dr Mathee enjoys a balanced and active lifestyle. He is passionate about hiking, travelling with his wife, and participating in various sports, including functional fitness, which aligns with his professional commitment to promoting healthy living.
