Dr Ockie Vermeulen brings an uncommon combination of experience in both the arts and the sciences to his medical practice. Before entering medicine, he completed a doctorate in music and built an international academic and performing career, contributing to several award-winning recordings. This background has shaped his disciplined, reflective, and detail-oriented approach to patient care.
Motivated by a commitment to lifelong learning, Dr Vermeulen later completed his medical degree at the University of Pretoria. He is currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in General Practice to further strengthen his clinical skills.
