Intercare is thrilled to announce the addition of Dr Willem van Staden, a General Medical Practitioner, who will join our Intercare Linden medical team effective 01 July 2024.

Dr Willem van Staden is a highly experienced and dedicated healthcare professional. He graduated with an MBChB from Stellenbosch University in 2009 and has since pursued further qualifications, including a Diploma in Primary Emergency Care in 2014, a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2021, certification in Travel Medicine from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2022, and certification in Underwater Medicine from the University of Stellenbosch in 2023. In addition to these qualifications, Dr van Staden has completed short courses in Basic Surgical Skills, Basic Ultrasound, and ICU care and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Experienced Providers, Paediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Dr van Staden’s medical practice is characterised by his special interests in Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Travel Medicine, and Tropical/Infectious Disease Care. His dedication to enhancing individuals’ and organisations’ well-being and safety aligns perfectly with Intercare’s mission to provide comprehensive, patient-centred care.
