  • Severe, recurrent headaches

  • Maintain regular sleep habits- go to bed and get up at the same time each day and avoid over or under sleeping
  • Keep track of your headaches and triggers

  • Apply hot or cold packs to the area
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Distraction
  • Over-the-counter medicine (refer to manufacturer’s recommendations for dosage):
    • Acetaminophen
    • Ibuprofen
