Symptoms may include swelling, darker skin color or dimpling of the skin on the arms and legs
Caused by hereditary factors
Cannot be spread from person to person
Affects males and females but more common in females
Can occur at any age depending on the type
May be mild to severe
Treatments
Gentle exercise for the affected area
Wrap the affected area in a bandage or compression garment
